Individuals seeking employment as Security Officers must fulfil the following criteria:
Security Officer Requirements
- Applicants must have a current Security/Crowd Control License
- Applicants must have a valid driver’s license and transportation.
- Applicants must have current qualifications/certificates for the position or must be willing to obtain them before employment
- Applicants must be able to speak, read and write the English language
- Applicants must not be convicted of a misdemeanour crime of moral turpitude
- Applicants must have adequate hearing to perform security related jobs.
- Applicants must have a valid phone number.
- Applicants for security jobs must be willing to work nights and weekends.
- Applicants must be able to physically stand, walk or patrol the majority of their shift.
